All Players must register each year online with USA Hockey before registering with SFYHA. Be sure to PRINT and SAVE the 9 digit/5 alpha confirmation code. EACH player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.

The Registration "Sign-up and Register for the upcoming hockey season" is not currently available.
Registration for Mini-Atoms (4 yr olds) and Atom Short Session (5-6 yr olds)

Dave Stahl Scholarship Application
In memory of Huron All Star former player Dave Stahl, his friends and family have established scholarship funds for hockey youth. The application process is open July 1 - August 31. Please submit application to cherry.hunter@sfflyers.com for routing.
Sioux Falls Youth Hockey Board of Directors will not be considering any Player Transfer Requests until after the August 10, 2023 Registration deadline for travel players within the SFYHA service area.
TRANSFERS: Brandon Valley Hockey to Sioux Falls Youth Hockey Association
Player Transfer Request Procedure – June 2021
At the SDAHA Meeting in April 2011, the state board approved formation of Brandon Valley Hockey Association. During the May 2020 SDAHA Meeting, the service boundaries were reviewed and changed for Sioux Falls Youth Hockey and Brandon Hockey Associations. If your player is enrolled in Brandon, Garretson, Valley Springs or Canton School District - the player must complete a Player Transfer Request prior to registering with Sioux Falls Youth Hockey. If the Player Transfer Request is approved, the transfer is valid thru the players participation in SDAHA unless another transfer request is submitted for consideration.

Please Note - Player transfers approved thru May 1, 2020 are valid thru your players participation with Sioux Falls Youth Hockey.
Players new to Sioux Falls Youth Hockey who are not enrolled in a Sioux Falls School are required to submit a Player Transfer Request prior to registration. Consideration will be given to Player Transfers on an individual basis with no guarantee for approval.
