1. Register with USA Hockey as a Coach - Annual Process

2. Complete the online SFYHA Coach Registration
   • Register Here 
   • You will not be considered for a SFYHA position(s) until you have completed the application. No fee.
3. Complete the online Background Screening - before getting on the ice.

   • Every other year requirement. 
   • No fee.
4. Complete online SafeSport Training  - before getting on the ice.
   • https://www.usahockey.com/safesporttraining
   • Annual requirement.
   • There is a core course plus three refresher courses. Once you have completed all four  of these courses then you start with the core course again.
   • No fee.
5. Complete the Age Specific Module as required for the level you are coaching - before getting on the ice.

6. Register and complete CEP status by December 31, 2022 as required for the level you are coaching.
   • Classes will be virtual and in person for the 2022-23 season.
